Membership is open to all indigenes of Lagos State in the United States who have attained the age of 25 years.
The Lagosians have awarded several scholarships to students of Lagos State higher learning institutions.
The Lagosians is a leading partner with Eko Club International.

 Welcome to the home of The Lagosians. The Lagosians is an association of Lagos State indigenes resident in the state of Illinois, USA. We are a not-for-profit organization operating under the appropriate laws governing non-profit organizations in the United States of America such as the IRS 501(c)3 allowing us non-taxable donations. Our membership is open to all Lagos State indigenes in the Illinois Area.
Our objective is to bring people of Lagos State together to work towards the common goal of enhancing the quality of life for people of Lagos State by focusing on their health, education and welfare. To achieve this, we have joined hands with organizations such as Eko Club International as well as other organizations in various programs. We have also awarded numerous scholarships to students of Lagos State Universities and Colleges of Education. Our programs are funded through the efforts of members, friends and well wishers. We hope you'll join us as a member today or donate to our cause. I am glad to inform our students in Lagos State of the availability of funds towards the 2010 - 2011 Scholarship program. Ten (10) qualifying students will each receive an award of N50,000 towards meeting their educational expenses for the stipulated year. The application form can be completed online here.
